Büşra Çelikler Işıkal is a Spanish Instructor at the School of Foreign Languages at Boğaziçi University. She holds a bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Istanbul University, a Master's degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, and a PhD in Humanistic Studies from the University of Rovira i Virgili (Spain).

Before joining Boğaziçi University in May 2025, she taught Spanish at İzmir University of Economics, Istanbul Aydın University, Istanbul Commerce University, and F.M.V. Işık University. During her tenure at F.M.V. Işık University, she also served as Coordinator of Elective Foreign Languages.

Her doctoral research examined the use of Spanish articles by Turkish learners of Spanish as a foreign language. Her research interests include Spanish as a foreign language, second language acquisition, Spanish grammar, foreign language pedagogy, and Spanish–Turkish translation.

At Boğaziçi University, she teaches Elementary and Intermediate Spanish courses as well as Spanish–Turkish Translation.
